Well, let's see...
I'm a collector of...rocks, shells, baskets,the strange and unusual.
I sketch, paint and sculpt. I enjoy woodworking, pottery making, spinning and weaving.
I make candles, designer soap and massage oils.
I enjoy gardening when I'm able especially herbs and flowers.
I love to cook as long as someone helps clean up.
All things involving nature, hiking, camping, swimming, fishing (yes I bait my own hook).
Road trips are great!
There are more...but it would take to much space.
MOVIES
I like many types but my most favorite are epics like Lord of The Rings, Braveheart etc. and also movies that are based on historical events.
I really enjoy a good "end of the world" narrow escape drama like Armageddon or The Day After Tomorrow.
Comedies are good. And scary movies I like but few really scare me.
MUSIC
I love music of all genres except rap, which I don't consider to be music.
I like doing things for myself, discovering new things and places. I like learning new TRUTHS...about life, about others and about myself. I sooooo enjoy puzzles!
I like to laugh and I like to make others laugh...laughter is a great medicine.
Quiet evenings at home with that someone special, a bottle of wine, a bottle of massage oil, and no interruptions.
Deep conversations.
Yes...I'm a hopeless romantic.
DISLIKES
I dislike snakes...the two legged kind.
I don't much care for closed minded people either but to each their own. A closed mind is like a brick wall...only a wrecking ball will get through it and and then it falls apart.
ABOUT ME
I was born in Eastern Kentucky and moved to Missouri in 1988. I used to train Quarter horses. I raised Airedale Terriers for 10 years until I rediscovered my true purpose in life...to be a healer. Not a doctor but a healer. To me a true healer is one who understands that balance is the key to everything and seeks to help people regain balance in their life in what ever way it is given to them to do. Massage therapy is my way of helping people re balance so they can begin to heal themselves.
Thanks for the vdeo. Phil has some real talent. That song has always been a fav of mine...Luciano singing it gives me shivers up my spine and makes the hairs on my arms stand up. lol
I know what you are talking about. I love the shivers.
I stopped in the grocery on my way home from work. I was wearing my scrubs and still had my Massage Therapist name tag on. I noticed a lady who kept staring at me so I smiled and said "How are you today?" She said "How can I tell if I need a massage?"
I asked her "Are you alive?" She laughed and said "Yeah". I said "Then you need a massage." And I gave her my card. She called 30 minutes later and scheduled an hour for the next day.
The moral of this story is.... never overlook a markeing opportunity.
